The Kinda Crazy Library

Our school library isn’t a normal school library. It has absolutely nothing but books in it. The chairs are made out of books and the tables and the shelves. It’s a bit insane really. Normal school libraries have young librarians that are always smiling and happy to help, but our librarian is made entirely out of books! Now do you agree with me that it’s insane? Are you wondering how this happened? Well if so I’m not surprised, but if you really want to know I’ll tell you.

It all started decades ago, way back in 1956. Our librarian was walking around her school wondering what to do. She suddenly decided to bury herself in books. Please don’t ask me why.

Anyway, there she was buried in books. She thought it was great fun, but before she knew what was happening the day went dark and turned into night. The librarian stayed where she was all night and when morning came she found that the books had disappeared. “Where had they gone?” she said thoughtfully to herself. She moved around and realised that there were books on her feet. She then realised that her hands were books and her legs and her arms. After a while she found she was made entirely of books.

I know that how our librarian was made is a bit weird, but that’s nothing compared to how the library ended up being made of books. Even though you probably don’t want to be told about how the library came to be, you’re gonna find out because I feel like telling that part of the story to you and there’s nothing to be done about that. So fasten your seatbelts for another paragraph of this fantastic story. Our librarian loved the idea of ‘being made of books’, so our librarian got to work on building our school library completely out of books. Like I said earlier, she built the chairs, the tables and the shelves all out of books. That’s not to mention the charging desk and the building itself. I probably shouldn’t tell you this but I will; there have been rumours about the fact that everything she owned was made out of books, and that means her toothbrush out of books. OOOOOOOH! YUCKY! And it means the toilet. OOOOOOOOOH again! Oh okay I’ll leave it at that and I won’t tell you about the food.

Moving on from these book horrors. Hmm let’s see, what else do I need to tell you………AH nothing, wonderful. I hope you’ve enjoyed listening to another fantastic story told by the story telling queen MOI! I hope you come to me in the not too distant future. It’s been a pleasure to help you find out about our kinda freaky, kinda weird and down-right crazy librarian. I hope to see you again for another treasure of a story. See ya soon!
